It is necessary for hunters to bring their own transportation. Most guides have pick up trucks and are loaded with all their equipment. A truck or suburban would be good as there are public gravel and blacktop roads that cover most of the prairie. If you are flying commercially, arrange for a rental vehicle at Houston Intercontinental.
From IAH go to Interstate 45 south and proceed toward Houston. When it intersects loop 610, go west and take the San Antonio exit onto Interstate 10. Proceed on IH-10 to Sealy. Exit in Sealy and go South on Texas 36 about one mile and take farm road 3013 to Eagle Lake. This is the fastest route.
